Question 1

Does the TRAPO car mat fit my vehicle?

Accepted Answer

TRAPO car mats are custom-fit using a verified database of 12,000+ Malaysian vehicle models. Each set is laser-cut from the original 3D mould of your specific make, model, and year, so it covers the driver, front-passenger, and rear footwells with no overlap or gaps. Use the vehicle search at /collections/all-car-mats to confirm fitment.

Question 2

What materials are TRAPO car mats made of?

Accepted Answer

TRAPO car mats are constructed from a PVC + EVA composite. The top surface is anti-bacterial (Bactekiller-certified) and waterproof, while the EVA underlay provides cushioning, sound dampening, and a non-slip backing. Materials are SGS-tested and REACH-compliant.

Question 3

Are TRAPO car mats waterproof?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The PVC top layer is fully waterproof and the deep-cup design traps spills, water, dirt, and sand inside the mat instead of letting them spread to the carpet underneath. Mats can be removed and rinsed with water without damage.

Question 4

How do I clean TRAPO car mats?

Accepted Answer

Remove the mats from the vehicle, shake out loose debris, and rinse with water. For tougher stains use a soft brush with mild soap. Air-dry before reinstalling. Avoid harsh solvents, bleach, and high-pressure washers, which can damage the anti-bacterial coating.

Question 5

What is the warranty on TRAPO car mats?

Accepted Answer

TRAPO car mats include a lifetime warranty against tearing, warping, or fading under normal use. Submit warranty claims at /pages/warranty-form with your order number and a photo of the issue. Warranty does not cover damage from cuts, burns, or chemical spills.

Question 6

How long does delivery take in Malaysia?

Accepted Answer

Same-day dispatch for orders placed before 2pm within the Klang Valley (1–2 days delivery). East Malaysia and remote areas typically take 3–5 working days. Orders are shipped via TRAPO's logistics partners and tracking is provided once dispatched.
